Technique Small Smile and Frown Unhappy to Happy in 17 Seconds

    1. Sit up in your chair
    2. Feet flat on the floor
    3. Hands on lap comfortably
    4. Its okay to move and readjust to stay comfortable
    5. Notice if there is any expression on your face
    6. Notice the effort to hold that expression
    7. Release that effort
    8. Allow eyes to close
    9. Allow a very slight closed mouth smile to form
    10. Allow a very slight closed mouth frown to form
    11. Very slowly go up and back from smile to frown
    12. Stop at the next smile and feel your face
    13. What sensation is there
    14. What is your sense of feeling or mood associated with this sensation
    15. Try the slight frown
    16. Form a tight smile
    17. Place attention on the smile
    18. Feel the effort
    19. Release the effort relax

What do you feel or sense right now?

 17 SECONDS

 

By repeating this exercise with all emotions that come up you will groove the sense of relaxing into happiness any time you choose.

 

This becomes an automatic response a habit whenever you start to sense you are stressed. On or off the matt, golf course,work or home.

 

You become healthier as your life becomes less stressful and happier even though you are still doing the same things.
